CSA Lost and Found – Help!

For all of our CSA members…

A white gold ring was lost today, Friday October 8th.  It is a plain band, small for a woman’s hand.  It was most likely lost in the bin of mixed baby brassicas, so wash your greens carefully!  If you find it, please let us know and we can reunite it with it’s hand.  Thanks a bunch for looking!

But, we found lots of good things to eat at distribution this week!  We are getting to the time of year when the predominant colors are green, orange and white.  There is, of course, the occasional purple from a purple cauliflower, or red from a straggling bell pepper, but this week was all about the green!

Goodness, look at all of that!

We have from left to right, apples, endive, tomatillos, onions, peppers, bok choy, cauliflower, carrots, spinach, pea tendrils, baby brassicas, kale, butternut squash and eggs.  Holy flying pigs!  That’s a lot of produce.

Dinner was a quick and tasty affair, with sauteed onions, red peppers, the very last of our dying fresh tomatoes, baby brassicas, polenta, roasted garlic and herbed Angelito cheese.

Dinner was good!
