Brief Food Parade

Some lovely dishes we had over the weekend.

Our after CSA distribution dinner: Toasted cheese on toast, egg salad, carrot, lettuce, white bean and garlic scape dip and fresh strawberries.

Buttermilk pancakes with homemade butter, maple syrup and fresh strawberries.

We had a couple of friends visit and stay with us over Friday, we made buttermilk pancakes made from the buttermilk generated during the butter making endeavor last week.  Really good buttermilk pancakes!

Two elements of butter making reunited!

Greens for breakfast! Eggs Benedict: poached egg over our whole wheat toast, with garlic sauce (mayo, crushed garlic, lemon and salt) ham steak pieces, served over greens.

The rest of the meals we ate will be posted along with their recipes.
